Apple Cinnamon Pancake MixIngredients
Unbleached Wheat Flour, Corn Flour, Rye Flour, Whey, Leavening (Calcium Phosphate, Bicarbonate of Soda), Powdered Buttermilk, Salt, Apple Fiber and Cinnamon Directions QUICK DIRECTIONS FOR PANCAKES: MAKES ABOUT 16 PANCAKES 2 cups Pancake Mix 1 & 3/4 cups Cold Water or Apple Juice 1 Egg (if desired, or 2 tbsp. melted shortening or cooking oil) Mix batter until smooth. Pour about 3 tbsp. batter on hot griddle for each cake (griddle should be lightly greased). Bake until bubbles break over surface, turn and brown other side. DELICIOUS WAFFLE RECIPE: MAKES WAFFLES FOR 4 2 cups Pancake Mix 1 & 1/2 - 2 cups Cold Water or Apple Juice 2 Beaten Eggs 2 tbsp. melted Shortening or Cooking Oil Mix flour and water together. Fold in well beaten eggs and shortening. Bake at once on a hot waffle iron. |
Apple Crisp MixIngredients
Brown Sugar, Wheat Flour, Oatmeal, Cinnamon Directions Preheat over to 350°F. Peel, core and slice 8 medium size apples. Fill an 8" x 8" pan with apple slices. Empty bag of mix into a small bowl, and toss lightly. Add 4 tablespoons melted butter or margarine and toss mix until crumbly. Spread over fruit. Bake for 35 - 55 minutes. Cool and serve with ice cream. Also works well with fresh peaches or other fruits if desired. |
Belgian Waffle MixIngredients
Wheat Flour, Corn Flour, Malt (Extract of Malted Barley and Corn, Wheat Starch), Leavening (Bicarbonate of Soda, Aluminum Phosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate), Sugar, Non-fat Dry Milk, Salt, and Vanilla. Directions WAFFLES: In bowl, whip one egg. Add 1/3 - 1/2 cup cold water and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Slowly beat in one cup mix. Whip well and let stand, while waffle iron is heating. Cook waffle until golden brown. PANCAKES: Preheat griddle while preparing batter. Electric griddles should be set to 400°F. Griddle is ready when a small drop of water dances on it before evaporating. Mix one cup of pancake mix and one cup of cold water. Stir with wire whip or beater until batter is smooth. Pour batter onto hot, lightly greased griddle. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look dry. Turn only once. |
Biscuit MixIngredients
Wheat Flour, Powdered Shortening (hydrogenated soybean oil, corn syrup solids, sodium caseinate, and mono & diglycerides), Leavening (bicarbonate of soda, sodium aluminum phosphate, and mono-calcium phosphate), Dextrose, Powdered Buttermilk, Powdered Whey, and Salt. Directions COMBINE: 2 & 1/4 cups biscuit mix 2/3 cup milk MIX: With a fork to a soft dough consistency. BEAT for 30 seconds. NOTE: If dough is too sticky, gradually add up to 1/4 cup mix to make dough easy to handle. DUST surfaces with biscuit mix. ROLL in mix to coat. KNEAD gently ten times. ROLL 1/2" thick. BAKE on ungreased cake sheet for ten minutes 450°F. |
